@mbabkk I had never heard of circadin so I googled it. It requires a prescription? That seems odd since it is a slow release melatonin. I may have to ask my PCP for a prescription for it.

@contentandwell Thanks for info. Will ask the pcp when i go for 6 month check-up. lack of sleep is not a good thing. i was once prescribed Ambien and that was a dreadful experience.

@parus I too once had some sleeping pill prescription, and I hated it. I felt like a slug the next day.

@contentandwell you are so right Ambien is a horrible drug for me also I've got to the point where 1Tramadol 1Melotonin does it for me at night plus I use a Dream machine when needed

Melatonin is not a sleeping pill it is a natural hormone - try it

@lioness Tell us a bit about a Dream machine. Is it like a "white noise" machine? How long have you used it?

@lioness I only had tramadol for a short time after my knee replacement. My doctor is very conservative about prescribing that type of drug, but I do use melatonin sometimes.
What is a dream machine?

@hopeful33250 Teresa, It is in Sicily. We have been to Italy two times with friends and we all loved Sicily the most. We also love the Amalfi coast.
