I was diagnosed years ago with bi lateral trochanteric bursitis and it flares bad in cold weather but more so when it rains. Before I started injections I literally slept on ice packs under both my hips all night it was the only way I could get relief. Injections work great. I also have knee bursitis, arthritis in my elbows, back, hands (thumbs-bad) and neck.
