I’m not supposed to suggest medications but I was going to suggest lithium I’d think you’ll do much better on that I’ve heard great things about it. The actress Patty Duke had bipolar and she took lithium and did extremely well however just because one person does well on something doesn’t mean another will but I wish you the best of luck.

Leonard, I had a good friend, a young woman at the time, who was severely bipolar. Amazingly she did really well with lithium. The only trouble she had was when she decided she wanted the high of the manic phase, she could not resist it, and she intentionally stopped taking her lithium. When we visited her in the hospital she was so different, violent, angry, not the same person I knew at all. Actually a scary experience, that visit.
