Be careful with using PPI's long term...
Heartburn drugs can cause seriously low magnesium levels. If you're on these and are having weird symptoms including SOB it might be worth investigating.

@helpnywhereucan- Hello! I have a great GI guy. He told me about a natural product called FDgard. The main ingredients are Caraway oil and Menthol. I believe that I've mentioned it before. It's for recurring indigestion (Functional Dyspepsia. I swallow 2 pills and in minutes the knot in my chest, throat, and back are relieved. It says on the package that it is for abdominal pain & discomfort, nausea, bloating and difficulty finishing a meal. It also claims that it is site-specific targeting. It is only for the upper belly. There is one too for the lower belly but I don't know the name. I take this along with Omeprazole. It OTC and is expensive. Best check with your doctor first.
My calcium pills have 400 mg of magnesium. That is an OTC proper dosage unless your doctor says something else.
I'm aware that many of us, including me, try home remedies before going to a doctor. But if symptoms increase or if you don't get any results then seeing a doctor should be the next best thing. I hope that you are doing well. What GI meds are you taking?

@helpnywhereucan- I agree, but like me, if I need them I have to take them.
