This sounds like a magnesium deficiency. I had many of the same symptoms...weight loss, difficulty swallowing, bronchial spasms (scary), allergic reactions. I also had acid reflux pretty severely. Magnesium deficiency can also cause gallstones (not sure if it can cause the gallbladder to stop functioning). My magnesium level was showing up normal on blood tests. There's a complicated reason for this but many people have had blood show normal range for Magnesium and when they supplemented, their symptoms resolved. I decided to start taking it in spite of what the test was showing and my symptoms improved greatly. I tell anyone experiencing unexplained symptoms consider looking into taking magnesium. It could take while to build up in your system and you have to find the right form for you (see previous post). Research it. Find people with similar symptoms. Keep up the faith. There is an answer somewhere, you just have to find it. It's time we all listen to our bodies. It's telling us something in our lives is not right.
