Hi, unfortunately I am still having this need to take a deep breath. November was a year ago for me. I have good and bad days. I have tried everything from diet, anti anxiety and nothing has made it completely go away. I still run 3 times a week. I took some time away from this thread because I felt it was geared more to dyspnea that COPD pts deal with and its not the same. I am not short of breath, I just feel the urge to take a deep breath throughout the day. I am 44 and very healthy.

If your diet is good and you're getting sufficient amounts of minerals as well as drinking plenty of water with bicarbonates and maintaining the proper alkalinity...have you had your iron levels checked? It seems as though your body, brain...something...might not be getting the level of oxygen it wants. Just a 'stab' at it. It sure is a tricky beast. Mine is 99+% gone. Only comes back when i stray from my routine and only for a few moments. By the time I realize it's happening and start getting upset about it, it's gone.

Just keep trying different things. You deserve to have a good quality of life. Keep trying until you find acceptable relief.Have you tried any supplements?
