30 years ago did you see a doctor and blood test taken? If so, what did they diagnose you with? I have notice my breathing is rapid and shallow and some days i am constantly trying to take a deep satisfying breath. I am so tired of feeling this way. I am going back to the doctor next week for more test.

He said its probably stress but he is referring me to a pulmanologist and we'll see

Hopefully they help get some answers @tonyagregg. I don't have answers yet, and been trying to find some since 2012. It's manageable and more stable, but I'd still like to get to the bottom of it so it doesn't get worse again. Let us know if you find out anything.

I guess it's a form of ocd!, it first happened to me as a kid while I was playing I noticed that I couldn't get a deep satisfying breath so I panicked and took me to the er but didn't find anything then I forgot about it for like 15 years and now it is back and can't get it off my mind

Let me know please if you ever have a break through I’ve been living with this for 7 years straight and I don’t want to deal with this for the rest of my life. Frustrating isn’t the right word, it’s much more than that. Honestly makes really angry that no one can help me...

Hello guys...m going through the exact same problem since a month now...turns out its because i started breathing from the chest...doing some belly breathing exercises helps alot...i started yesterday and already noticing the difference...the thing is breathing from the chest doesn't let you take enough oxygen... google "belly breathing vs chest breathing"...do some rnd ... you'll get it. Hope this helps

Hello
I just joined this group. How is everyone feeling with the SOB? I started with this constant every day w a lot of yawning about 3 months ago. I have a lot of digestive issues. SIBO, fungus and very deficient in nutrients. Along low acid on stomach. Can low acid trigger short of breath?

Hello, I just started having this same issue with not being able to take full breaths and weirdly, I just started exercising on my new treadmill for the past 5 days. I had this issue when I was pregnant and the doctors said it was due to my hormones. I was totally fine after pregnancy but now all of a sudden I can’t take a deep breath and am constantly yawning. I also started taking Nutrafol supplements two days ago when this all started so I’m stopping that ASAP. Has anything worked for you?
