I take Lactulose and Xifaxan. I’m also on diuretics. For me, the Lactulose makes it easier to go. Before I started Lactulose, I had really bad constipation.

@kltchrmn, I just now saw your message pop up, and I want to say, "Welcome" to Mayo Clinic Connect. We are happy that you have joined this conversation and have shared from your own experience.

I want to invite you to look at, read, and join into any of our discussions in any of the GROUPS-PAGES- EVENTS-CHAMPIONS listed on top of this page. Are you a transplant patient?

@rosemarya I hope you had a happy transplantiversary. Do you do anything special to celebrate? I have only had one transplantiversary so far and it happened to be on the day that my son-in-law's parents had a pre-wedding Hindu ceremony for the couple. My son-in-law did give me a beautiful toast at the luncheon afterward, which was nice. I even took a tiny sip of champagne -- very tiny.

@contentandwell, Thanks, JK. It is always a very emotional day for me. Early on someone told us to be sure to celebrat the blessed event every year by doing something special, like you might remember a birthday.
We went out for a nice quiet dinner. And we raised our iced tea and lemonade in a toast!
