Has anyone tried the TENS machine for pain?
Has anyone tried the "Tens"machine for pain? There are many kinds sold on Amazon. Dr Ho is advertised on tv a lot. I have a cheaper model and use it on my shoulder and hip but no success that I can notice so far.

Love, love mine for lower back pain.
I use mine almost daily for Left Upper Quadrant pain of unknown origin. I have also used it on knee pain. I have 3 types of units. If you would like specific models and makes let me know. The units literally make a nonfunctional day into bearable or often calms the pain enough to be able to move, work, walk.
Thanks, I have a Health Herald. It is a cheaper brand but sends a strong stimulus. I am not really getting a lot of relief. I am looking at a Dr.Ho but they are about $200. Any advice will be appreciated.

@renarikia
The one I use is by OMRON. It is wireless and come with two sizes. One for my back and one I use for my knee. It is connected to my cell phone via blue tooth and is incredible. Check it out at Amazon. I highly recommend it!
Mine is from prospera no cell oh e required ,you can put it on ,waist,shoulderjoints,hand-foot,sold and repeat it user-generated knead you can switch while it's on love it 10yrs have had it.
TENS stimulates the nerves – the rationale being that the simulation keeps pain signals from reaching the brain
EMS causes the muscles to contract – by mimicking the action potential that comes from the central nervous system I THINK EMS IS STRONGER?
@mari, thank you for the added information on TENS machines. I moved your post in to a recent discussion on tens machines to be part of the active and recent discussion on TENS units. @mari, do you have experience with either a TENS or EMS?
I have both TENS and EMS - they both work. Got mine long ago for $700. Mine has rechargeable batteries - Great!
