I have been using water and vinegar and it does work well. Does anyone have a problem with trying to make the mask go back to 0 before starting it up at night?

Just FYI, @macjane & @duvie About 8 years ago when I received my first CPAP machine, I was instructed to use vinegar and water to sanitize my mask, hose, tank, etc. Ironically, on March 4th of this year, the day of your comment, I received a new CPAP machine, mask tubing, etc. because my other one had died. I was instructed that the newer masks and hoses are made of different materials than the older ones and that vinegar or dish soap are absolute No-No's. The current protocol is baby shampoo. I have to say the baby shampoo is a much more pleasant scent than the vinegar as the vinegar was always quite strong right after cleaning. I also use the SoClean2 and had on hand some of their neutralizing wash so I use that sometimes too. It has no odor at all. Hope this is of help to you!

I have a problem. It wants to stay on numbers of previous night. I put on the mask a few hours before I go to sleep so I can try to adjust it. I start up the mask and let it run while strapped to face. I then wait thirty seconds turn it on hold and keep on hitting button to stop and start it. It might go right away but it also may take 10 times of on and off before it drops to zero. I then let the mask wait until I am ready to go to sleep. I also have a tube for extra oxygen attached which I turn on before going to sleep. My mask is special - extra wide small with more rubber lining mask. I cannot use The SoClean. Jane Brown
