John, thank you for the quick reply, so the so clean is an ozone generator.. thanks again. I have learned much just reading the posts here.

Glad to help. The machine runs the ozone generator part for 2 minutes and then shuts off but stays locked for 2 hours to complete the sanitizing process. Since your mask with the hose attached to your CPAP machine is placed in the SoClean machine it sanitizes the hose and humidifier tank in the CPAP machine. It has a light that it red when it's generating and noisy buzzing sound. Then it goes yellow for 2 hours and when it's done the light turns green.
