GOOD LUCK WITH THE TREATMENT I HAVE HAD 3 PROLIA INJECTIONS ONE TODAY AND NOT HAD ANY SIDE EFFECTS TERESA 🤗😍💐
Hi thank you for your detailed information regarding Reclast. I will be going for my 3rd infusion tomorrow and my bone density has increased. I don’t look forward to it. I usually feel like I am getting the flu, aches, feverish etc.. but I do exactly what you said drink water, I take Tylenol before and after. I am 69 now, also in good physical condition but it’s genetic and as you said: you do not want fragile bones . I was treated early 60’s but could not tolerate pills. So this is working so have to stick with it!
And yes, medications all have side effects, but so does OP and fractures!
Hope that helps someone too!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful insight. My situation is similar to yours. I have been active my whole life and want to continue as long as I can. I had my Reclast infusion yesterday and so far so good. I am a bit achy but that is the extent. Hydration and inflammation management are so important. Thanks agai!
I nixed the recommendation for Reclast and Fosamax after reading the hideous side effects of both and all the bisphosphonates...So now I'm doing Osteostrong - only 4 sessions so far and already I'm feeling relief in my body from joint pain.
You can learn about it here...if you have any questions you can ask me by replying to this but like I said I've only had 4 sessions. I'm 72 and have mild - moderate OP
Thanks for the encouragement as I too am having a frightening feeling going in for my infusion on Wednesday. I plan to drink plenty of water and take the Tylenol in hopes that everything will go smoothly.
Hello, I’m not sure I have it right.. Are you on both Reclast and Forteo at the same time? Your tips about the 45 min infusion & the other two are really interesting…why does a longer infusion time help? I wonder if the doc could first approve this ..rather than confront the tech guy on the day b off…interested in asking for this if I can understand why this helps…Thanks for helping !
Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I think I’m ready to go ahead and get the infusion, but there is so much negative information out there that I found myself scared to move forward, especially after developing gastritis while using the Fosamax. Again, thank you for taking the time to better inform me.
