Does CBD oil help you with your depression and/or anxiety?
I am curious to know if anyone has had success with CBD or Hemp oil helping with depression/anxiety? I’ve been reading a lot about it and am curious.
I've been reading about this and am very interested but would like thoughts/opinions from anyone who has actually tried it or knows someone who has. TIA
Thank you,
Laura

Thanks for your not and great that you sre doing so well .. where do you get yours from?
@jameswhite15-CBD oil is legal in the US for anyone to buy. You need a card if you go to a compassion center because they sell THC too. The amt of hemp/cbd might differ. I use 10mg per dropper
I have generalized anxiety and take Xanax but trying to wean gradually under drs guidance. Does anyone take Xanax and CBD oil?
I hope this isn't too off-topic but I also have a GAD diagnosis. I was taking Xanax 1mg, three times per day. I was able to wean down to 1.5mg (.5mg tid) per day then hit the proverbial wall. The short half-life of Xanax lends itself to between dose withdrawal symptoms and it became too difficult. Switching to diazepam (Valium) in the titration process has made all the difference. It has a much longer half-life. I am now done to 4mg of diazepam per day and should complete the titration by mid-February. I have not experienced withdrawal AT ALL which, from everything I've read about benzodiazepines, is pretty amazing.
That’s great that you could make the switch to Valium and wean down with no withdrawal!!!! I’m going to talk with my dr about your success as I have such difficulty weaning off Xanax!
Thank you and Happy New Year !!
I’ve learned that taking xanax and cbd oil together adds to drowsiness and dizziness .
@rascal- I take CBD oil and it helps with my anxieties if I can't handle them myself. why are you trying to wean yourself off of Xanax? Are you having problems?
@elssa1000- A warm welcome to Connect-Back many many years ago when not much was known about the long term side affects of valium. I had a horrible time with getting off of it and had to be given Librium to make it through the process. I'm glad that you are taking it easy and weaning off of it very slowly. Are you doing this on your own or under a doctor's guidance?
@rascal- They both do the same thing so I can imagine that the affects are doubles. Be every careful, lol
Dr says I was on too high of a dose and my body was asking for more. It’s a nasty med for long time use with many side effects so slowly weaning to get off under dr supervision.
