Put on beta blocker to reduce afib, and getting closer to normal heart beats. However, heart rate still in the 90's. Got the result of a thyroid blood test, and it's a bit high. Bring this down by reducing the thyroid hormone will reduce my heart rate. I am moving closer to the sweet spot.

Good for you🙏🏻😊

That's great! I'm going to start taking a beta blocker too. Metrotoprol. Hoping it will get me back in rhythm. Have to pick up the prescription today. Happily, I am actually in rhythm today! And feel great. Maybe I don't need it? Ha ha.

How is your heart rate now after taking the Beta Blocker and reducing the thyroid hormone for awhile? I started on a beta blocker today (Metoprolol or Troprol 50 mg am and pm).
