I know Mayo in Jacksonville does Boston Scientific DBS implantations only. I was one of the first to have it done at Rochester. After 3 months I have not had much improvement. Less dyskinesia, but more tremor, new foot drag,
more bradykinesia. I would love to hear how other B/Sci patients have been doing. My settings are L 1.9 - R 2.1.
I am getting very discouraged.

Hello @leftylucy

I'm sorry to hear that your DBS has not provided you with the improvement that you expected. I'm wondering if more adjustments are needed in order to solve the problems you are experiencing.

Will you be having more adjustments in the future?

Hi, @leftylucy - just wanted to let you know I moved your post here to where you were previously discussing the Boston Scientific deep brain stimulation (DBS) implantations so that all your inquiries and experiences with this implant could reside in one place.

Do you have a checkup soon with your Mayo doctor to look at your progress? What kind of timeline did your doctor mention at the time of implantation for potential improvements?
