@erikas

@sueleerock You would prefer death over the way you are feeling and the only reason you stay alive is for your sons.

If you felt like you could not keep yourself safe who would you reach out to?

It sounds like you feel hopeless. Other than your sons do you have adults such as, family, friends, social worker, therapists, medical providers, etc. that support you?

Erika,
I had a good life before the medicine. I left home at 16, worked for the phone company, had two federal jobs, one state, but unfortunately, i was a job shopper never thought about aging or getting sick, thought i had plenty of time to save for a good retirement.

They told me i would feel better, get back on my feet again, get another good job, save for retirement. That wasn't to happen.

I now live in a dump, rent from the housing authority, and never have enough money. No doctor wants to see me because they know I am a charity case. I have numerous health issues and no real help.

I have no family left and growing up Navy, from stepdaddy dearest who left half a million to the church, I never stayed in contact with anyone, being in the Navy we moved every year.

I guess I'm thankful I'm not homeless. That's about it.

Job hopper.
