Sue, I thought our regulations were tough! You all make us look easy! Got my doctor to up me to 3 a day a couple month ago. On days when I don't have my pain episodes I only take two. So I have some in reserve when I need more than 2!
Like I said, three days before and Urine test every six months.
As for living in New Mexico I love it! Grew up in Phoenix hatting the heat! Have been here for 45 years! People don't understand ABQ is at a mile high, 5280' like Denver. But we are a high desert! We get around 9" of rain a year! No Bugs!
We have four seasons, mostly mild! As for cost of living I would say we are a lot less than you on the west coast! Right now I can get a gallon of gas for $1.89.
Housing is very reasonable and so are groceries! People complain about it being to high but have never been any place else!
When they in the country talk about integration and segragation I laugh! You have 5 different ethnic groups all living together in the same neighborhoods, shoping at the same stores.
The only bad about New Mexico right now is our governor! We have the tightest restritions of any state concerning the virus!
I also agree that is unfair about imposing rules on seniors. But in saying that I had an ex-wife and old girl friend who abused the use of pain killers. Both were known to take 10-20 a day! They are the ones who made the government to impose our rules on pain medicines! Both are now dead!
Keep me posted with any other questions!
