@sueleerock There are a few ways that I am aware of. In order to try to best answer your question may I ask if this Is this a physical disability and something that someone is receiving disability benefits for?
@sueleerock If you receive disability then you have a diagnosed disability. The office of social security should be able to provide you with or direct you towards a social worker/case manager if you ask. Your local county should be able to provide you with a social worker/case manager by request as well. If you are in Minnesota please look into the resource I have linked below.

1) I'm in a bad housing situation, do not have a computer to fight back and take them to the office of civil rights, nor do I want to have to wait two years to get out of here.
2) I'm high-risk covid and was hoping for some leads on employment opportunities.

@sueleerock You don't have a good housing situation and are looking for employment.
Below I have linked information regarding Social Security and employment. I think these may be helpful and they also supply contact information so you can reach out and ask questions.
As I mentioned before, a social worker/case manager would be helpful for your situation. They likely would also be able to help you with housing options as well as employment programs.
It doesn't sound like you are satisfied with your current situation and you are ready for a change. Did I get that right?
Yes, thank you for your help. I do not believe there are a lot of advocates here in Seattle. It seems, if there is any help to give out, the homeless have taken all resources and there does not appear to be much left for anyone else.
Seattle received a rating of only 26 in how we care for elderly and disabled here.
I'm not sure about the lawsuits. What symptoms has your husband experienced? Some days I feel like I'm still on the interferon and it's been 13 years since my last injection.

Yes. I received disability for a bad back and Hep C treatment. So.... I guess, everyone but us knew about how debilitating treatment was.
It is just too bad I did not do enough research previous to treating, for I would not have taken the drugs, not to end up like this.
Seems odd, they are telling me I no longer have cirrhosis, when they had told me I was last stage and it was a must that I treat.
A must to pocket thousands of dollars at my expense!

You may be asked why you want a social worker/case manager. May I ask what your specific goals are?

And because no matter how shitty I feel, nothing is worse than not having enough money to live on.

Where are all the lawsuits for this? My husband has been sick and not able to work for 15 plus years because of this.

@robbyd If you haven't already been welcomed formally, I'd like to do so. Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect, a place to give and get support.
May I ask what symptoms you have that you, "feel like I'm still on the interferon and it's been 13 years since my last injection."
