Hi, @annedodrill44 -- did anything come out during your appointment related to the possible adrenal issues or the Synthroid you were planning to ask about?
My appointments at Mayo are the week of Feb. 17. I’ll let you know what they say!
I spent the past week at Mayo-Rochester. I consulted with numerous specialists and had a battery of tests, including adrenal, gastro, thyroid ... you name it, I had it. All came back normal. My “spells” are less frequent these days, but so unsettling when I do get them. If things get worse, I’ll go back for a CT scan and neuro studies. I am also advised that sometimes there simply is no diagnosis. I have total confidence in the Mayo Clinic and will follow their advice. Thank you for all the support, suggestions and encouragement. I am truly grateful.
Forgive the tardiness in responding to your question, Lisa. No ... no new meds are causing these feelings, but I’m certainly going to ask Mayo if I can cut back my Synthroid in case that’s causing the problem. And I also hear adrenal issues could be a culprit. I’ll be in Rochester in a week thank goodness!
