Itching along with autoimmune disease
Last night was awful, I have been itching all last night and now today. I use unscented dove and Eurcerin lotion and it was working then I came of lactulose whi c have I was told I didn't need but that's for toxins and constipation. I take bathes twice a week and showers the other 5 days a week. Which l know might be to often but since I had autoimmune disease I just have to do this routine. I was given cream and that doesn't.help. And some doctors would say you are under stress but when you itch alright you would be under stress. What's a person to do? I guess I will go take either a bath or shower . Maybe I will stop for awhile.

Oregongirl hi if your itch isnt from detergents then has to be from food,medicine or water thats from old pipes ,environmental? Have you looked into any of these ? Hope you can get to the bottom of it .
Well, my spine doctor recommended the same thing. Bi will see him shortly after I finish my shots. Then set up allergy hunt.

Well one Dr said I have RA and fibromyalgia. I thought you could only have one or the other. I am tired all the time. I swear I am dealing with students rather than doctors at University. I will bring up the CSS to my Dr. I have have been waiting for an absolute diagnosis for over a yr. Why do they treat me if they are not sure. Oh yes....practice

2 Reactions@seantroop Hello, I have fibromyalgia and swear I also have CFS. But I’ve never heard of itching being associated with CFS. Oh, I also have RA, So I can barely get out of bed. I try really hard to give thanks for what I do have and be a positive light for myself and others. Sometimes it’s really hard, but I don’t give up! if you don’t mind, can you point me in the direction of the research that pairs itching with CFS? Thanks!

Exactly. Cortisol levels may not be there. It most definitely sounds like it in the edocrine problem like Addison’s or CSS. I would have hormone levels, thyroid levels and ACHT Tests ran to confirm or dismiss.
