Hello @gordonjackie722 and welcome to Mayo Connect. I am sure that you are concerned about your son and I hope that this new treatment plan works well for him. I would like to invite @kdutcher and @georgette12 to this discussion as they have also mentioned using this product for depression.
If you are comfortable sharing more, how long has your son be dealing with this debilitating depression?

This started the beginning of the 7th grade at the onset of puberty and now he is a freshman (or should be but isn't attending school ) with his IEP they are allowing him to do online but he really wont or cant do that work. He says he feels like nothing will ever help him etc.... I am hopeful this will make a difference. His psychiatrist said from the genomind genetic report it makes sense why the meds he has been on have not worked -- due to his genetic makeup and I assume and his MTHFR gene mutations.
