I would suggest googling their website enlyterx.com or embraceHR.com. You do not need a prescription to order Enlyte. You can order directly from the company for $50 plus shipping cost. I had the gen-o-mind test done & I have a mutation called MTHFR. It is not uncommon & there are two specific genes they test. I have the better one, but it is the reason two prescribers recommended I try it. Yes, after a month I feel a lot better. The thing is I added Effexor 37.5 at the same time to my Lamictal 100 mg regiment. Although I had taken Effexor before at a higher dose, my regiment had been changed & I dropped Effexor & increased the Lamictal so that the adding back of a low dose of Effexor was done at the same time I stared the Enlyte. Supposedly, the gene mutation means we do not metabolize folic acid properly (something like that). I was told people without the gene mutation are electing to take it anyway & reported feeling better. So I do not know. You can ask your doctor to do the swab gene test to see if you possibly have one of the two gene mutations. You can check with your doctor, but it seems it would not hurt to try it for a month & then evaluate your personal experience. Good Luck! Carol

Hello, @chloepoole, and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect.

So, if I understand correctly, you are now taking a low dose of venlafaxine (Effexor), lamotrigine (Lamictal) and also the folate supplement Enlyte. Will you share a little about your diagnosis and how this combination treatment is working for you? Are you noting any side effects?
