Nikkit, have you been to see a doctor about your symptoms?
Hi, @nikkit. I wanted to add my welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect and introduce you here in this discussion to some other Connect members who may have insights for you: @dawn_giacabazi, @gmhelin, @infinitykitty,@autumnleaves, @beckym, @alicein_wonderland, @michellecrcrn, @techi @hopeful33250 @contentandwell and @taterjoy.
How long have you been experiencing the urinary frequency? Can you share with us more about what you've been experiencing there?
@nikkit I have terrible frequency and it’s worse at night when trying to sleep than during the day. I am supposed to drink 80-100 ounces of water a day so I try to get most of that in early in the day, but even so I need to “go” more during the night. A couple of nights ago I was literally having to get up every half hour. By morning I was exhausted and ended up sleeping until around 10:00.
I have not had any discharge though. I am about 13 years beyond menopause so that is DONE thankfully.
Combining incontinence with needing to drink so much is a losing situation. The need to drink so much is because one of the immunosuppressants I am on is wreaking havoc with my kidneys so I have to keep them well flushed.

My feet are extremely swollen but only when i walk or sit with my feet hanging down, i urinate a lot but mainly during the days, the urinary frequency started since the end of August, it's very hard for me to sleep on my belly or my back.
If i try to sleep on my belly it feels like something is hard is in my belly and makes me uncomfortable, if i try to sleep on my back it feels like i can't breath and something is sticking me. I was diagnosed with PCOS sometime last year so i am not sure what's happening with me and i am worried to be honest.
Hello @nikkit
I can certainly understand your concern, these sound like very uncomfortable symptoms. You said that you were diagnosed with PCOS, how long was that diagnosis made? Were you having those symptoms then or did they start recently? I suggest that you notify your doctor about this change - it is really important for the doctor to know of any change of symptoms that might be related to a diagnosis. The doctor is the best person to evaluate these changes and then put your mind at ease.
As I wasn't familar with PCOS, I found some information on Mayo's website, https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/pcos/symptoms-causes/syc-20353439. You might look at this description of the disorder and see how it applies to your current problems.
Will you contact your doctor's office next week and report these symptoms? We would love to hear back from you and know how you are doing. Please keep in touch. At Mayo Connect we care.

@nikkit How are you doing? You haven't responded since October so I'm wondering if things are OK with you. Please give us an update and let us know what your doctor said. Thanks, Gailb
