Female urethral stricture
A urethral stricture occurs when scarring narrows the tube that carries urine out of your body. A stricture restricts the flow of urine from the bladder and can cause a variety of medical problems in the urinary tract, including inflammation or infection.

What are the symptoms?

According to Mayo Clinic, the signs and symptoms of urethral stricture disease include:
• Slowing of your urine stream, which can happen suddenly or gradually
• Urine leakage or dribbling after urination
• Spraying of the urine stream
• Difficulty, straining or pain when urinating
• Increased urge to urinate or more frequent urination
• Blood or discharge from the penis
• Pain in the pelvis or lower abdomen

I have this condition. Although, I have been diagnosed with this , it is hard to find a doctor skilled to help me fix this problem.

1 Reaction@kellanns Sorry about this condition . Have you seen a urologist? They should be able to help you . If one doesn't don't give up get a 2nd or 3rd opinion

3 ReactionsThe female Euretha is only about 7" longcompaired to a male 16". Childbirth therefore causes stretching and need for re-education of the pelvic floor ( Best with biofeedback) Question. If surgery shortens the tube more, how does the surgery make up the difference? Question 2) Does post surgery include Biofeedback? Who is certified by medicare?( Biofeedback Certification Institute of America, Certified?) I am a Biofeedback Emeritus, so these are relavanent questions. What will be the ICU code after surgery-Medicare in USA.?
