Creatine, causes or promotes cancer metastasis?

Posted by Cannondale @tactive, Oct 10 9:56pm

I heard that the intake of creatine can cause and/or promote cancer metastasis in cancer patients.

Anyone find or have any studies or information on this topic?

Thank you

Thanks for the link. I have seen and read similar articles. This article was a little more specific. Thanks again.

@jaxfl Good article; a little vague on HOW it can interfere with chemo and tumor response.
But I think the key takeaway was its impact on kidney function and how it can confuse what is actually going on inside you.
It’s like why they say no alcohol while on Orgovyx; both substances can raise liver enzymes and together they can potentially cause damage. Good find,
Phil

Creatine is the most studied supplement, period. I checked with the nutritionist attached to the PC team and she was clear that is safe to take. FYI -- I had RP PC, three years ago and remain cancer free.

And here's some research.

Each of us is different and always ask your PC or oncology team what's best for you.
