My stroke was in 2018 and between pain management specialists, neurologist, and
Physiatrist, have tried every drug.. foe pain….anti epileptics,
Anti depressants , usual pain meds, all to very high dose, methadone, cbds, acupuncture,
OT and OT, mirror therapy ..
all to no avail Entire left side of my body has constant burning, stinging, strange sensations
Physiatrist wants me to try
ketamine infusions but I’m not confident they won’t cause further damage or just not work at all. Very frustrating
Everyone wants to help, but no results

@irishnanny3 Have you tried lamotrigine?

Or a heated suit ? Or hydrotherapy?

Perhaps a hot tub would provide a similar benefit, something to raise your core temperature, not a cure but to provide a few hours relief. Not everything has to be medicinal it seems
