I wanted to give an update on the beech band that my hubby is wearing. He wears it on the unaffected side, his left wrist. It is a band that uses "virotactile stimulation (VTS)—delivering gentle, rhythmic pulses or vibrations to the skin." It doesn't shock you or inject chemicals. It simply gives a vibration. Remarkably, it is working for my husband's PD. For neurological symptoms—such as tremors, freezing of gait, or speech stammers associated with Parkinson’s disease—the rhythmic external signal acts as a sensory cue that helps the brain bypass blocked neural pathways and re-establish smooth movement or speech. My husband has only been wearing the device for several days now, and his gait is better, his tremors are less, and he isn't fumbling his words. He has also told me that he thinks clearer. Just wanted to share our experience so far. I am rooting for you all in OUR fight against PD.

@eojeda1 I am 76 & have had PD for 10+ years. I took Carbidopa Levodopa 25-100 pills for 8+ years. I switched to Vaylev @18 months ago with mixed results. Vaylev helps my neurological symptoms (such as tremors, freezing of gait, or speech stammers associated with Parkinson’s disease) the pump is attached to me 24/7. I am considering DBS. I would lie to look into VTS. Is this available in the USA?
