@frouke It's possible, and likely common, for women to simultaneously count our blessings and mourn the loss of the intimacy we once recognized as a gift in our lives.. If you have loving family and friends, and you're able to enjoy your life, you're truly rich. I also feel vulnerable at age 74, but I would prefer to live alone and can't. Seems like we never wind up where we think we will. Twilight years are hard.
