Has anyone tried the TENS machine for pain?

Has anyone tried the "Tens"machine for pain? There are many kinds sold on Amazon. Dr Ho is advertised on tv a lot. I have a cheaper model and use it on my shoulder and hip but no success that I can notice so far.

@painsurvivor I have always put it on the areas that are bothering me that day. I keep turning it up until I get the desired strengths. If it starts hurting back it down until you get used to it. Keep titrating up slowly until it blocks the pain.
I hope this helps you!

A long time ago. I found for sciatica, I would turn it up so high in both places, I was just substituting pain for pain. It did not help the pain (I was post 3 Lumb Lams) Distraction?

I have a battery operated tens unit recommended by surgeon prior to surgery. Use it periodically for nerve pain, and believe it gives moderate relief.

Yes! It has been very helpful with my joint and muscle pain. I would encourage you to try it.
