Dancing in the street by David Bowie and Mick Jaggers. One of my favorite songs. As soon as I hear this song start I want to start dancing. My grandmother told me when I was very young she was going to teach me to dance. The girls will love it. 🤣🤣

@nallyator19571031 let’s all forget about our troubles for a moment and sing and dance to a song world wide.

Mac Arthur park is melting in the dark
All the sweet green icing flowing down
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don’t think that I can take it
‘Cause it took so long to bake it
And I’ll never have that recipe again

MacArthur Park
Jimmy Webb

If we all try, could we bake it again?

Lean on Me
Song by
Bill Withers

Sometimes in our lives
We all have pain, we all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow

Lean on me when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gon' need somebody to lean on

Etc etc….

Day-o, me say day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Come, mister tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Lift six foot, seven foot, eight foot, bunch
Daylight come and me wan' go home

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white……

etc etc …. 💙

This was a great song! I loved Louis Armstrong! He was so talented! I especially liked his version of "Hello Dolly!"

You know, I used to be
The back porch poet with my book of rhymes
Always open knowing all the time I'm probably
Never going to find the perfect rhyme
For "heavier things"

How about:

Sunny, yesterday my life was filled with pain
Sunny, you smiled at me and really eased the pain
Now the dark day are done and the bright days are here
My Sunny one shines so sincere
Sunny one so true, I love you

What just a smile can do…
