Ice Machine Question

Posted by amtsa @amtsa, Oct 2 11:33am

I rented an ice machine for my hip replacement surgery 2 years ago and I didn’t think it was very effective. I’m having knee replacement surgery in a month. Will the ice machine be more useful after my knee replacement surgery? Just wondering if it’s worth it? Thank you!

Ice machine is the best thing to use after knee surgery. I have a Breg machine. It is the best. You can get one at Amazon. Good luck with your surgery.

@angels12 I hope the Breg works for you. It is NOT the best or even close to it but if it works, that is all that matters.

It has been a very good ice machine. I recommend it.

@jetjock Yes the NICE machine has a specific "cuff" for the shoulder. It even comes in multiple sizes. There was a slight ticking when the machine cycled.
