Reading earlier posts, I may be in a minority. I am not diabetic, have not had chemo, not exposed to toxic substances and no known relatives with PN. I first noticed a numbness developing in my feet about 3 years ago. The tingling and burning came after. I am 80 years old and have learned this is more common in older folks. It has affected my balance and my sleep. As Katherine Hepburn said, "Getting old ain't for sissies."
