lilybell, Well, today is Oct. 4, 2026 and I'm reading your comment on how you have been taking Ambien and Diazepam and they are no longer working for you. Wish I'd have seen this sooner because I was in the same boat.....taking both Ambien and Diazepam and they no longer worked. Well, my doctor decided to take me off both of those medications and prescribe me 1 medication that would replace both the Ambien and the Diazepam, for the 2 issues I have, bad anxiety and insomnia. The new medication is Lorazepam. And he was absolutely right! It treats both issues. It was one of the happiest days in my life because it started working immediately and very effectively! It's a crying shame alot of doctors will not prescribe this medication simply because of the classification it is in. If a person is suffering and has tried numerous different meds (which I had) then by all means they should be allowed to try a medication that could save their life.... or the very least, improve their quality of life to the fullest. Quality of a person's life should always be extremely important to a doctor.
