The hematologists are pretty absolute
about 1000 , less is totally a set up for sepsis.
Did the surgeon suggest a bidet.
They are now inexpensive to place on top of your original toilet as a do it yourself project

We use bum guns here in SE Asia. Last time in U.S. I hooked up one for the person I was staying with it. They love it. No more toilet paper. Since it gets cold there, we hooked it up to warm water. It never gets cold here.
