Traveling tips when flying
I have been recently diagnosed with Diabetes 1 and am planning my first flying trip to see friends. I'm wondering how to manage all my medical supplies and adhering to TSA regulations. Do I need to show my prescriptions for the needles, insulin, etc? I wear a DexCom G7 monitor and not sure if it's best to ask for a body pat down as opposed to walking through the XRay machine. What snacks are allowed? My levels go very low at times and I find that Apple Juice is most effective in bringing them back up. I welcome any and all tips for flying as I want to cover all my bases.
Thank you
