ARSI (Lutamids) 3rd generation

Guys, wishing everyone a PSA of 0.

I heard development has started—does anyone have any info?

Are you referring to something other than Erleada (apalutimide), Xtandi (enzalutimide), or Nubeqa (darolutamide)?

(I don’t want a PSA of 0; that would mean that my prostate is dead.)

As Brian Jarvis said, these 3 drugs ARE the third generation.

@brianjarvis

No!

I heard from someone here that Erleada works only for an average of 44 months. The new 3-third generation (ARSI) is about three times more effective and have 10-15 years protects against BCR

@denis76 Each of the ARPIs was developed to improve on some shortcoming of the previous one(s); but each has its own strengths and weaknesses.

The 2nd generation androgen receptor pathway inhibitor (ARPI) therapies have all been available here in the U.S. for some time:
> Zytiga (abiraterone): 4/28/2011
> Xtandi (enzalutimide): 8/21/2012
> Erleada (apalutimide): 2/14/2018
> Nubeqa (darolutamide): 7/30/2019

(Over the past few years, I’ve attended webinars about them. See attached graphics for more information about them.)

Hi Denis, do you mean the new class of androgen receptor degraders (and PROTACs) like the one in this article -> https://pubs.acs.org/jmcmar/article-abstract/69/14/16346/5206722/Discovery-of-Potential-First-in-Class-Dual-Ligand
