In my online search for Nervive, it has mixed reviews. Many said it helps reduce the burning and tingling in their feet. Others said it id nothing. It contains Alpha Lipoic Acid plus other ingredients. It was mentioned that it is rather expensive. It receives a score of 4.5/5.0 at Amazon.

Is Nervive a prescription. I take a alpha Lipoic Acid. Have been taking it for yrs. I do have some leg /foot relief. Don't have tingling anymore, but lately have been experiencing burning when sleeping. Will Service help with that?

This is a clear gel to be applied to the joints. It helps with inflammation.

@maggie76 - I take Nervive and it has made a major difference between getting a good night's sleep and waking up with terribly burning feet during the night. It is not a prescription and is not expensive. Key Ingredients: Lidocaine 4% and Menthol 1%. Lidocaine works as a local anesthetic by physically blocking the sodium channels in your skin's pain fibers, temporarily numbing the local signals. The menthol creates a cooling counter-sensation that essentially distracts the brain from the underlying pain.

Do you take it in tablet form or rub it on your skin?

@maggie76 - I rub the gel/cream-like lotion on the bottom and top of my feet, between my toes and up to the point that would be like the top of my sock (ankle).

@mikead63 A friend recommended Nervive to me . She has taken it for years and swears by it. She started out at the recommended dosage which was something like three pills a day for a week or some such - and is now down to 1/2 a pill per day. It appears there are several such nerve pills out there. I asked the walgreens specialty pharmacy I use for my heart pills why there wasnt one nerve pill in their shop - they didnt know of course. Strangly, nerve pills are hard to find in Denver. Even CVS doesn't have Nervive so I rub Vicks on my feet which helps a bit.
