Recommend for NET specialist at Cleveland Clinic

I don't have any direct experience with Cleveland Clinic specialists, but here is a listing of net specialists in Ohio. Not sure which ones are specifically at Cleveland Clinic but it's a starting point for you. I do know that they have a NET Team there, though.
The list also includes an Ohio NET support group that may be helpful to you in your search for a specific recommendation.
There is also a Dr Shah, not at CC but at Ohio State University in Columbus that I have heard great things about from other Ohio net patients. She is on that list as well. 100% of her practice is NETs and she's been at it for 20 years.

I had heard great things about Dr. Shah at Ohio State about 3 years ago when I was diagnosed, but I don't think she is there anymore, no profile for her so maybe she retired. But I did change my care from OhioHealth in Columbus to OSU this past March to get a NET Specialist. I have been nothing but pleased. Dr. Konda is my oncologist and she and her group of nurses are spot on - thorough, VERY responsive and knowledgeable! I have also just been referred to IR, Dr. Makary, for TAE. I haven't seen him yet, but he called me in person the other night re: scheduling issues. He was very kind and personable and went out of his way to work me into his schedule. I also have a close relative who works in radiology at OSU Med School and he told me both "are the best of the best" and he has the deepest respect for both of them. So I hope this info is helpful!

I am located in E Cleveland and go to Cleveland Clinic. But I would consider UH as well if they have a good Dr.

My journey with Cleveland Clinic started in August of 2025. My local oncologist is not a NET doctor. I initially saw a Dr. Saltzman who I am still connected with. Please understand that whomever you go to with Cleveland Clinic that your whole "portfolio" so to speak, will be presented and discussed with the tumor board. And it will be determined your next best step. You have a team working for you. There is a Michelle Kim who is highly spoken of and known nationally and internationally as a NET physician. But remember she is part of the tumor board and will be giving her input irregardless of who your oncologist is. I am very pleased so far with everyone I have dealt with at Cleveland Clinic.

I recall a few years ago Urologist mentioned Prostate biopsy reports would be evaluated by a Tumor board. That makes me feel more confident.
By the way the PC turned out well. Minor procedure.

I have Dr Matthew Walsh perform two distal pancrectomies 3 1/2 years apart. Both times he was able to preserve my spleen. My first surgery was robotic and a truly easy recovery, my second surgery had to be open and was much harder recovery . He also removed my gallbladder at another surgery and another easy recovery,, I definitely recommend him and trust him completely.

Dr. Michelle Kim very recently resigned from Cleveland Clinic and has been replaced by Dr. Gavin Harewood. I do not have experience with either of them. I am currently trying to get registered for a 2nd Opinion in-person, out-of-state appointment. They have not been able to electronically connect to my medical records, and that process is being handled manually via fax and mail at the request of Cleveland Clinic by my local oncologist's referral team.
