Has anyone tried Optimum? Hope or hype?
Has anyone tried Optimum? The ads make it look very appealing, but there are so many fake "cures" out there I was wondering if anyone has tried this and did it do anything? Thanks!

@genevieve1980 thank you! It sounds like it's in the "can't hurt, might help" category so I thought it might be worth trying. Good to know about the constipation. I am not optimistic, but really don't want to go back to the medication with its risks and side effects.
@gravity3 Yes, due to loss of hormones, I'm 64.
@gravity3 That's the likely cause for me as well. No, not on any kind of hormone replacement. It sounds like research shows it helps if taken by 60 years old, but that came out after I had already passed that. I really hated being on Tymlos.
I have been seeing lots of ads regarding Optimum. Is anyone taking it? Is it legit or hype?
@tess55 What is Optimum? Is it a supplement?
If the correct spelling is Optimum then another discussion has already started. Go to the top of the page click on search 🔍 and type optimum.
What is it that you are trying to achieve with a supplement?

What did you hate about tymlos? Did it increase your bone health and, presuming you completed tymlos, what did you follow with to preserve gains?
@gravity3 I only lasted 3 months so it is unlikely it had time to do anything. I felt like I was "under the weather" the whole time, terrible headaches for the first two weeks, but then those went away. The part I couldn't take was at night my legs ached so much I couldn't sleep, just writhed in pain. My doctor didn't even mention that was a possible side effect so I didn't know what was going on. As soon as I stopped taking Tymlos I felt so much better, as if an awful weight had been lifted. So I just couldn't make myself go back on it.
