Lite shape's in peripheral vision

I had rainbow colored pinwheels in my perifireal vision years ago (I am 82 years now) and I determined that it was caused by drinking a certain brand of coffee. It was Hawaiian Kona coffee. Also, I have a hazelnut allergy and if I drank flavored coffees I would experience the same. All flavored coffee caused the problem. The name for it was orthalmic migranes. (check spelling) Sometimes it is a simple solution!

@dianedonohue Just remembered that it is important to think of what you consume. I am allergic to preservatives in foods. Condiments have lots of preservatives and additives in them. Also it's important to eliminate processed foods. Then after elimination wait a few weeks or a month and see if ingesting them causes these sensations. Good luck, Diane Donohue
