@monette, I have to admit the title of this thread makes me laugh every time I see it! As a NASA engineer, I mentally do the conversion automatically. A 3 1/2 inch diameter tumor would be a serious cause for concern!

The OP was diagnosed stage 1a so had to be 9mm. 9cm would be no lower than stage 3. Metrics and autocorrect has a mind of it's own.
