Thyroglobulin increased from .6 to 4.2 in two months

Hello!

I had my total thyroidectomy and 35 lymph nodes removed in October 2024, and 121 mci RAI in February 2025 - papillary.

My labs in March had thyroglobulin at .3, June was .6, and last week it came back at 4.2. My Tgab is <.9 (undetectable) and my TSH is suppressed at .38.

Has anyone had experience with this sharp of an incline? I am concerned, and of course these results come in on a Friday afternoon.

Thank you in advance!

PET scan was ultimately denied by insurance, so working on scheduling a CT for neck and chest.

@mcro2121-did you get your CT? What did your doctors say about your increased thyroglobulin? I hope you're ok!

Hi there, sorry for the delay!! CT chest and neck came back clear about a week ago, still haven’t heard anything from my doctor. I’m assuming they’ll plan to schedule a follow up draw now that it’s been some time since my last. I’m planning on switching Drs to the MD Anderson facility where I did my initial surgery to make sure we’re being thorough.
