While hair loss isn't a "recognized" side effect of Tymlos. It is widely and easily recognized by the many who take the medication in dialogue like "pulling whole wigs out of the drain," and "wearing my hair now in the tiniest bun."
There is evidence in medical literature in the study of the effect on hair of hyperparathyroidism https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25721772/
I think it grows back after stopping the drug. Anyone notice?

@gently must be because the drug affects the parathyroid gland. It Is like pulling a whole wig out the drain. At least I know what’s causing it. I hope I’m not bald in 16 1/2 months. I still can’t completely count to 10 when doing the injection because there aren’t 10 clicks in the TYMLOS pen. I get to 9 sometimes and the 1st month it didn’t sting. Now it does and I dread injecting it every night afraid that I might react and pull it out. (I did one night.)
