@fbgibbons672, @lcamino, @contentandwell, @fauneconner, @grammyx4 ,
I hope that all of you are in good health and making satisfactory progress.
I would like to introduce you to a new member, @mauraacro, who has a scheduled date for living donor surgery, and some questions.

@mauraacro, I invite you to join this conversation.
What questions or concerns do you have about being a living donor that you would like to ask this group?
Rosemary

Adding another member of ours, @uneeq1, who recently donated a kidney to a friend.

Hi, Rosemary. Wanted to let you know I was officially approved as a donor for my husband last week. We don't have a transplant scheduled at this date but it was a good feeling to know we have a solution now. His current GFR is 22 as of last week. He hovers between 20 and 22.

@fauneconner, Thank you for the beautiful update. I am so-o-o-o happy for you and your husband! That is quite a marvelous Christmas gift and a wonderful way to proceed in to the new year:-) I know that you must be relieved to have all the testing and the uncertainty behind you.
Did you get a letter or a phone call? What is the next step in the process?

@fauneconner, we would love to hear more from you as you continue to move forward. I want to remind you that this is a public forum, so share only what you are comfortable with.

I continue to keep you in my prayers.
Rosemary
