Infundibulum, in my brain,

Posted by normanchester @normanchester, Sep 8 8:24am

Anybody got any information about it, a little over a year ago we thought it was aneurysm, it has not changed it has not gotten any bigger, why do I have it? Can anybody relate? Tell me what you know, thank you

@mkoch thank you very much, I will see if I can get this technology figured out, so I can see what's going on

Normanchester: Here is a link that describes the differences between an infundibulum and an aneurysm. Dr. Chouddhri says an infundibulum is a "fake aneurysm." I happened upon this link when I was diagnosed with an aneurysm 2 years ago. Kudos to your neuro doc that he called it out for what it was. On this video Dr. Chouddhri states that patients are referred to him for aneurysm treatment but he finds when he personally reviews their angiograms that they actually only have an infundibulum.

@normanchester: I hope the video gave you some clarification. (Sure wish I had an infundibulum but I got diagnosed with an aneurysm instead.) But, of course, none of us likes any of that stuff taking up real estate in our brain.
