Any tips on using Mayo Clinic app while there?

Posted by beekeeperj @beekeeperj, 4 days ago

I'm heading to Mayo and I've downloaded the app. I was told to keep checking it for appointment changes, etc.
does anyone know an easy way to open the app? Such as Face ID. I find it very difficult to enter a username and password on a tiny phone screen.

Good questions. I am sure it will depend on the type of phone. I have an Android. My phone does not have facial recognition, but when I open the app, I can sign on using fingerprint recognition. It is a quick way to open without having to reenter your user ID and password.

You might also check your notification settings (under Account settings). If set up, you can receive email/text or both when you have new test results and appointment information.

If you have any questions about using Mayo Clinic Patient Portal or the Mayo Clinic app, you can call 877-858-0398, Monday through Friday.

I use facial recognition on my iPhone and iPad. If I remember correctly, the app asked if I wanted to use face recognition on the sign in page.

@beekeeperj, you can call or visit Mayo Clinic Concierge Service for help with the Mayo Clinic app and patient portal. They can walk through it with you step by step.
