@wku yes, I believe ALTA3263 is also being studied for pancreatic cancer. I think it's a kras on/off inhibitor. Some of the side effects I've seen my husband experience include a torso and scalp rash treated with steroid cream and an antibiotic, diarrhea treated with Imodium, and some instances of nausea, very little vomiting. He has to wear sunscreen and try to cover up when out in the sun too. In my opinion, he's doing generally much better with this than he did when on chemo. He has colon cancer, so he gets an infusion of cetuximab (an EGFR inhibitor, if I remember correctly) twice per month too. The infusion pre-meds (Benadryl and steroids) make him nauseous, so they talked about giving him anti nausea meds before anything else at his infusion appointments. I don't know if pancreatic patients also get these infusions. Last bit of info - he has to fast 2 hours before and 1 hour after his pills (twice per day, approx 12 hours apart). This with the diarrhea seems to have caused weight loss, so we're adding supplement drinks, like Muscle Milk, to his diet. He has a decent appetite and does cardio weekly, he feels pretty good most days. Sometimes he gets a little fatigued and takes a nap, but less often than when on chemo. Hope this helps.
