@jerry22748 Yes, the $100 handheld ones are convenient, but they are not up to daily use, sometimes more than once a day. I'm not sure who the target market is, but it is not people who neb two or more times a day. And many cannot withstand sterilizing. I find it telling that none of the cheaper ones on the market have a warranty longer then 90 days.
Years ago, Philips mad a $300-400 dollar one that was pretty hardy, but they went out of the nebulizer business.
The one @scoop referred to is very pricy, it is a mesh one, but does have a small compressor base, and is pricy. We have had ours for over a year (2 of us use it with separate handsets) and it is proving to be reliable, fast & quiet. Compared to burning through multiple $50-70 ones in a year, I think it is going to be cheaper in the long run.
