@mizzdeb48 I'm glad I've helped. It takes a while, and you have to celebrate the small triumphs. The day I was able to walk up a flight of 4 stairs using alternating feet, instead of one foot, then bringing the other to join it on the same stair, stands out in my memory as *such* a good day.

It took about 6 months to gain back 10 pounds, but it was faster after that. If your sister has significant muscle weakness, maybe PT is something she can look into, now that she is not tethered to the toilet?

@susanf8 i never thought about PT, even if up the road. for sure, she's lost a lot of body/bone mass. she was always active too with being a daily walker and sometimes bike riding. i'm right there with you on celebrating the small wins!!
