Anyone actually feel better on any of these drugs?

Can you post a link to the research that says

"the reason why some fracture is because the drugs make your bones dense, but decrease the quality of your bone."

@gravity3 look it up. It is out there.

@gravity3 By "feeling better" I mean, does the increase in bone density actually yield any perceptual change in how you feel when moving, exercising, etc. I already have some chronic back pain as a result of scoliosis and a potential side effect of more muscle pain secondary to a medication is not a pleasant thought. So, that is one of my primary concerns. I appreciate the response from other, however, which are encouraging.

I am here because of numerous concerns regarding my osteoporosis & not to simply be negative but my own short experience with the generic of Forteo was very bad. I had to stop after only 4 weeks due to numerous side effects I couldn’t tolerate. Having had cancer twice in the past decade & warned about my bone density getting worse, then a comminuted femur fracture, next a comminuted hip fracture…….I tried the product. Even now 8 months after I last injected myself, I’m suffering with severe Neuropathy (cannot feel my feet) is the worst & have a fractured foot from my ankle rolling. While still recovering with a boot on my left foot my right ankle continues to roll out on me & I truly fear breaking that one also. I have been in & out of PT for years trying to strengthen my muscles & prevent more fractures, also have scoliosis with chronic back pain! My so called “Golden Years” are flying by while I hobble around with a walker 😞

Just my opinion, but I'm not sure anyone actually feels better on these drugs. They just hope it prevents something worse further down the road. Hope I'm wrong.

Sites such as this seem to have more of the folks who do have some of the side effects that manufacturers list as possible (even though many are quite rare) and are looking or answers, information and support. The majority of us who may have some mild symptoms or none at all are off living their lives.
I, for instance, have had no noticeable side effects from 5 years of alendronate, 2 years of forteo, 1 year of evenity and 2 years of Prolia.
